The new "npTECH" Electric-Solar Hybrid is a space-age technology invention which surpasses all vehicle standards in the
marketplace. It runs specifically on (Lithium) batteries which provide greater power and longivity.
Other electric NEVs such as the GEM, EZ-Go, Lido, and Dynasty use antiquated electronics with standard marine deep cycle
batteries and offer a maximum range of 25-30 miles/charge. The "npTECH", with its new Lithium batteries render over 200 miles/charge.
Additionally, NEVs like the Dynasty provide no airbags and thus are classified as SMV or Slow Moving Vehicles. SMVs are
limited to a maximum speed of 25 mph and are street legal where speeds do not exceed 35 mph. The "npTECH" includes front seat
driver/passenger airbags with 3rd generation sealtbelts and restraint system and therefore are allowed a maximum speed of
up to 75 mph.
The cost of electricity in Hawaii range from 29 to 36 cents per Kilowatt-Hour. This means that if you use 1000 watts
of power for One hour, you should expect to pay 29 to 36 cents. It takes 8-hours to charge up a GEM or Dynasty NEV. Therefore
your daily cost would be $2.32/$2.88.
The new "npTECH" features a revolutionary "float charge system" which take about 1/2 the time to completely equalize
the batteries. This means that while it cost you $2.32 a day to charge up a GEM NEV, it will cost you just $1.16 or 1/2 the
savings.
Additionally, should you choose to install our patented Solar Module and Panels, you will be completely independent of
HECO generated power.
Cost Benefit: A fully loaded GEM Car with AM/FM Radio, Interior Lights, and Hard Doors will run anywhere from $16,000
to $17,000. The "npTECH" with all the options and feature-benefits will cost no more than $19,250.00.
What is most significant? The "npTECH" is Local, Home-Grown and will be manufactured right here in the islands. It will
be the first compact-class automobile designed, built and produced in Hawaii.
