for GEM vehicles. In February of 2003, I purchased a new 2002 model. I would be very honored and appreciative if my car could be included in the testing phase for the batteries and solar
panels. Once I was approved by the State of I love my GEM. It is very rare that when I go to the store or a mall, there aren’t several people standing
around it when I leave the store and they aren’t shy about asking questions. They seem very excited to hear that solar
panels are being made and their usual comment is “well this is the perfect State for these cars”. As you know,
gas prices have gone out of sight and it is always entertaining to watch their faces when I mention that I haven’t bought
any gas since I purchased the car. That is when I really get their attention. In addition, I am retired and on a very fixed
income so owning my GEM has been very helpful in cutting my expenses. I have not even noticed any difference in my electric
